The commonly used specifications for quartz powder are 400 mesh, 800 mesh, 1000 mesh, 1500 mesh, and 2000 mesh

Particle morphology and mineral structure: During the formation of silica fume, it is subjected to surface tension during the phase transition, resulting in the formation of amorphous spherical particles with a relatively smooth surface. Some are aggregates of multiple spherical particles stuck together. It is a volcanic ash material with a large specific surface area and high activity. Materials mixed with silica fume and small spherical bodies can provide lubrication.

4. Has good insulation properties: Due to the high purity, low impurity content, stable performance, and excellent electrical insulation performance of micro silicon powder, the cured material has good insulation and arc resistance properties.

5. It can reduce the exothermic peak temperature of epoxy resin curing reaction, lower the linear expansion coefficient and shrinkage rate of the cured material, thereby eliminating the internal stress of the cured material and preventing cracking.

6. Corrosion resistance: Silicon micro powder is not easily reactive with other substances and does not react chemically with most acids and bases. Its particles evenly cover the surface of the object and have strong corrosion resistance.

7. Reasonable particle size distribution can reduce and eliminate sedimentation and layering phenomena during use; It can enhance the tensile and compressive strength of the cured material, improve its wear resistance, and increase its thermal conductivity, thereby enhancing its flame retardant performance.

8. The micro silica powder treated with silane coupling agent has good wettability to various resins, good adsorption performance, easy mixing, and no agglomeration phenomenon.

9. Adding micro silicon powder as a filler to organic resin not only improves the various properties of the cured material, but also reduces product costs.
